Join our Virtual Book Club
I admit that I hadn't heard of the Fable app until last month. An app for a virtual book club? I was skeptical. However, after exploring the app, joining a few virtual book clubs, and checking my newsfeed each day, I have really enjoyed the book community.
What is it? If Facebook and Booktok had a baby... It might resemble something like Fable.
What I enjoy about it is that unlike other social media apps, this app is for book lovers exclusively. If you're looking for a book recommendation or you really want to share a favorite quote from your current read, then Fable has you covered. It's free, easy to use, and a great way to find likeminded readers.
So how does this relate to Bon Voyage Book Box? We started an online Book Club through Fable exclusive to our subscribers. Let's create our book community!
To join all you need to do is click on the link in your email from us when you start your subscription and download the free Fable app, create an account, and then search for "Bon Voyage Book Box Club." Click the "join" button and begin posting.
Each club is set up like a an independent chat room that's spoiler-proof. As you read our May book Sweetness in the Skin by Ishi Robinson, you can open up the Discussions after reading each chapter, respond to the questions, polls, and reactions of other group members, or post your own! What I love is how the app prevents spoilers by having indidivual threads for each chapter.
